September News & Events
On September 13, Opera announced the launch of MiniPay, a stablecoin wallet integrated into its mobile web browser. Built on the Celo blockchain, the MiniPay wallet will allow users in Africa to send and receive Mento stablecoins using their existing mobile numbers. The launch will begin in Nigeria and will support the Mento stable asset cUSD or Celo Dollar. Mento Labs is excited to support the MiniPay rollout that aims to provide affordable and accessible financial services to Opera's user base in Africa. Watch this 📽️ video to learn more.

- Mento Labs took part in the UN SDG Action Zone together with friends from Celo Foundation, impactMarket, Plastiks and Soda. 🇺🇸
